Crockpot Italian Chicken!!!
This totally hit the spot. Hubby and I LOVE to eat Italian - but it's so hard to avoid all the amazing pasta, breads, cheeses, you know the deal! This chicken paired with a caprese salad gave us that Italian taste without the carbs and calories. Win win!
You Will Need:
- 2lbs. Chicken
- 1/2 cup almond milk
-1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. of the following:
onion powder
garlic powder
salt
pepper
dried parsley
oregano
basil
minced garlic
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 6-8 hours
*Optional: If you want a creamier chicken, add 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt right before serving!
Freeze Ahead:
- If you are preparing ahead and freezing this, put everything in a gallon ziplock bag EXCEPT for the liquids. Add the chicken broth and almond milk when you place all ingredients into the crockpot :)
