Apple Cinnamon Oat Bread!

Apple Cinnamon Oat Bread!

GAH I am just so excited for apple & pumpkin this season I could not WAIT any longer!! This bread is certainly not "clean" or completely healthy, but definitely a healthier option than a lot of other choices! Perfect for breakfast or dessert!! :)

You Will Need:
- 1 cup applesauce
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two loaf pans.
(I used the coconut oil spray from Trader Joe's)

2. Mix all dry ingredients EXCEPT the sugar!
(flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder)

3. Mix all of the wet ingredients with sugar in a separate bowl!
(sugar, vegetable oil, applesauce, yogurt, eggs and vanilla)

4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, gently stir.

5. Distribute the batter into two loaf pans, make sure to leave room for the bread to rise!

6. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

7. Meanwhile, whisk together the glaze of 1 cup powdered sugar & 1/4 cup applesauce.

8. Once bread is done, allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before adding glaze.

9. Enjoy!
