Home Sweet Home Sweet Potato Fries!

Top 10 favorite foods. hands DOWN!

These took me 20 minutes from the time I peeled the sweet potato to the time I actually tasted one! So easy and quick, and a healthier alternative to regular fries!


You Will Need: 
1 sweet potato
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. garlic salt
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. honey (optional)
Dash of cinnamon (optional) 

Servings: 2 (not going to lie, these were all mine but they SHOULD have been 2 servings!) 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Peel potato and slice into wedges (as thin or as thick as you would like, but try to keep them consistent for cooking purposes)

3. Spread out potato wedges on baking pan and drizzle with olive oil, paprika, garlic salt, salt and pepper. 

4. Either gently lean the baking pan side to side or use a brush to evenly spread the olive oil and spices over all of the pieces. 

5. Cook for 15 minutes.

6. Remove pan, flip the potato pieces and place the pan back in the oven for 5-10 minutes, depending on how crispy you would like them! 

7. Remove from oven and place onto a dish. I drizzled mine with honey and cinnamon before eating, totally optional!
