Today's Menu: Ground Turkey Asian Stir Fry!

Today's Menu: Ground Turkey Asian Stir Fry!

This meal was SO easy and SO quick to make! We needed a change from chicken so we went for some ground turkey meat; you could definitely use lean ground beef too!

You Will Need:
1/2 lb. lean ground turkey meat
1/2 head of green cabbage (or a bag of shredded cabbage)
3 green onions
2 garlic cloves
2 carrots (or 1/2 a bag of shredded carrots)
1 tbsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. olive oil
Dash of salt & pepper

Sauce:
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sesame oil
1-2 tbsp. siracha
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Optional Garnish:
Sesame Seeds
Extra Siracha or Sweet and Sour Sauce

Directions:

1. Mix together all stir fry sauce ingredients and set aside. (I actually mixed this the night before and it was fine)

2. Shred your veggies if they are not already shredded and slice down the green onions. Mince your garlic too.

3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add in cooking oil (if you are using turkey meat, you may need more than 1 tbsp. of oil). Add in your meat, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and brown your meat.

4. Add in the carrots and cabbage. Cook until the cabbage looks slightly wilted and then add in the sauce and green onions.

5. Serve with sesame seeds or sauce on top if you prefer!

Notes
- I also added a side of brown rice and mixed this all together
- If you shred/slice everything the night before along with mixing up the sauce, this meal will literally take you 10 minutes to make!!!
